I’m still at it Blog fans (Fan 😊)

The training continues and I feel more like a gym bunny every day.

My foot seems to be holding up to the increased activity and isn’t getting any worse.

Seems like my foot now prefers stiffer shoes so I can’t bend so much but only time will tell what the rest of my body thinks about that.

Yoga with Sharon Dooly continues with various degrees of success. We manage to get the teacher to lose it laughing most sessions 😊. It does seem to help but it does seem to make we quite tired afterwards and sleeping doesn’t seem to be a problem afterwards.

I have now done 5 park runs and the foot still seems ok. Last week I didn’t want to do it but trying to keep consistent I went anyway. My body didn’t want to play and as I started I thought that it was going to be a long run. I wasn’t disappointed it was and my time bore this out. At least I did it and I will improve eventually.

The concept 2 rowing is getting better and I purchased a Bluetooth heart rate strap and this is proving useful. It even connects to the app on my phone. In the gym, I look like “all the gear and no idea” 😊 person.

Started to try and do some light running on the treadmill and sometimes my foot lets me other time not. I’m still finding out what I can and can’t do.

So training is sort of getting into a routine and I’m still enjoying it even if the washing basket it taking a bashing now. My mood seems to have lightened slightly so all is good so far.
