Phil’s Fitness Diary week unknown July 2018

Feeling better the last few weeks as my training seems to be improving again and my mood seems to be getting better. All those naughty endorphins whizzing around
Gary Telfer Monday night fitness training continues and either I’m getting fitter or these sessions are easier. It is nicer being outside on the astroturf pitch but it does make the running repetitions longer. Because Gary has about a 6-week cycle we do use different muscle groups my lower legs seem in better shape.

Also have been on some run/walk sessions on my own outside and this is really nice this time of the year. Not very fast yet but I seem to be completing them without any injury

Been doing my Gym “Triathlons” which seem to be going quite well and also started doing intervals on the treadmill concentrating on the technique tips that Gary has told me to work on. I do feel like a prancing pony but apparently, it does me good and stops the injuries happening quite so often.

Alls well at the moment and I just need to keep going and slowly build back up and maybe enter a race 😊
